"The Hunger Games" by Suzanne Collins
About the book:
COULD YOU SURVIVE ON YOUR OWN, IN THE WILD, WITH EVERYONE FIGHTING AGAINST YOU?
In the ruins of a place once known as North America lies the nation of Panem, a shining Capitol surrounded by twelve outlying districts. Each year, the districts are forced by the Capitol to send one boy and one girl between the ages of twelve and eighteen to participate in the Hunger Games, a brutal and terrifying fight to the death – televised for all of Panem to see.
Survival is second nature for sixteen-year-old Katniss Everdeen, who struggles to feed her mother and younger sister by secretly hunting and gathering beyond the fences of District 12. When Katniss steps in to take the place of her sister in the Hunger Games, she knows it may be her death sentence. If she is to survive, she must weigh survival against humanity and life against love.
My Reaction after reading it:
I’ve just finished reading “The Hunger Games” by Suzanne Collins and the first thing that comes to my mind is “Holy Shit”. I mean, WOW!!! This book is just amazing. The story line carries you in to the heart of not only the main character, Katniss, but into the nation itself. You can see how everything that those people are living is not that different for the reality. How they’re just not enough food; how people die every day because they can’t feed themselves or because there not food around. I mean how this can happen while all the politicians and rich people have a fest every day. Injustice!!! Yes, the government is controlling the lives of the citizens in ways not very much different from the book. This story has opened my mind to a part of the world that I just didn’t wanna see. But it’s all true. And the question is : What would you do to stay alive?

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (2008)
"I was born under unusual circumstances." And so begins 'The Curious Case of Benjamin Button,' adapted from the 1920s story by F. Scott Fitzgerald about a man who is born in his eighties and ages backwards: a man, like any of us, who is unable to stop time. We follow his story, set in New Orleans from the end of World War I in 1918 to the 21st century, following his journey that is as unusual as any man's life can be. Directed by David Fincher and starring Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett with Taraji P. Henson, Tilda Swinton, Jason Flemyng, Elias Koteas and Julia Ormond, Benjamin Button is a grand tale of a not-so-ordinary man and the people and places he discovers along the way, the loves he finds, the joys of life and the sadness of death, and what lasts beyond time.

Let me Sign by Robert Pattinson
Broken she
Has her arms twisted
Is pointing at me
I'll stand, but I ain't coming
Over as she
She spoke with a voice
That struck at the sky
She said, "come on over
Bittersweet
I'll wrap you in my arms"
And She said, "Let me sign"
"Let me sign"

"Every year I turn out to be exactly the same person".
"Anosognaosia- when you don't know, then you don't know".
"The last dream that I had...It is certain because it is imposible".
"The Beauty is the Beast"

Twilight Movie: My Review
After waiting for what it seemed an eternity, the movie Twilight finally is here. Yes, I saw the movie. And, what do I have to say? Well, I have to confess that since I saw the movie I’ve been in another dimension. Yep, I am flying in outer space. But I think that I can remember a bit of what I actually felt that day. Oh yes, I loved IT! I almost went into a cardiac arrest during the whole movie. I have to say that the people that made the movie are geniuses. I mean, it was like someone was there reading us the book and what everything I was Imagineering was shown on the screen. The actors who impersonated Bella (Kristen Steward) and Edward (Robert Pattinson) were just amazing. I could feel the tension, the passion and the intensity of their “LOVE”. I love every scene. But like always some stick in my mind. For example, I loved the scene when Edward appears out of nowhere in Port Angels and saved Bella from those evil men. The other one is the “KISS” scene. I mean it was just so real and passionate. Then there was the baseball scene, where they play. I loved the scene of the big fight between Edward and James. And finally I almost died in the last scene of Bella and Edward, when Edward kisses Bella’s neck (Just like in the book). Oh, wait, I almost forgot. I almost choke when I saw Stephenie Meyer in the movie. Yep, she’s in a brief scene and is just so cool.Posted by Zuly at 11:58 AM 4 comments
